24.5.2007 - kesämielin

Viime lauantaina kaverit pitivät piknikkiä puistossa ennen meidän konserttia. Brian ei pelaa futista, vaan pyörittää jäätelökonetta... (muovikuoressa on jäitä ja sisäkapselissa jäätelöainekset - tulipas hyvää!).
Last saturday our friends had a picnic in the park before the concert. Brian is not playing soccer, but operating the ice cream machine (inside is ice, and inside the ice the container for the ice cream ingredients - very good!)



Laitoimme takapihalle tomaatintaimia ja kurpitsoita. Roscoen tekisi mieli käydä niitä vähän katsomassa.
We planted tomatoes and pumpkins in the back. Roscoe is wishing he could go out to look after them a bit.



Olimme Maker's Faire -messuilla, joissa oli esillä kaikkea itse tehtävää ja itse tehtyä. Tässä LEDein koristeltu fillarin rengas.
We were at the Maker's Faire, a fairground full of things to do and things done. Here a LED bike wheel fixture in action.



Kokeilimme myös saven valamista. Minä sain vähän liikaa "apua" ja vähän liian äkkiä käskyn heittää kuppi jäteastiaan... Njääh. Brian teki enemmän itse ja kuppi läjähti kunnolla kasaan.
We also tried pottery. I got a bit too much "help" and a bit too quickly the order to throw the result in the recycling tub... Nyeh. Brian did much more on his own and his creation collapsed splendidly.
