Viimeinen viikko työtä tekemättömänä on kohta ohi ja ensi viikosta tulee kaikesta päätellen hyvinkin vilkas. Silicon Valley Sympony huoli minut sittenkin kakkosviuluun ja ilmeisesti pääsen myös töissäkin heti eka viikolla projektitöihin kiinni, päätellen siitä, että torstaina on asiakastapaaminen (muuta en työstä sitten vielä tiedäkään). Kaikin puolin jännittävää!
This last week as gracefully unemployed is almost over and next week will be on all accounts a busy one. The Silicon Valley Symphony has accepted me to second violin (contrary to my expectations) and at work also I will be charging into a new project in my first week. The client meeting is on Thursday (and that is all I know about it so far!). Pretty exciting!
Eilen kävimme syömässä Brianin kaverin kanssa sushia läheisellä Castro-kadulla ja sen jälkeen kytkimme nettikameran päälle, ja kävimme tervehtimässä Teemua, Andreaa ja Lunaa aamiaisella. Näimme myös punertuvan vaahteranlatvan aamuauringossa ja sen, kuinka Luna esittelee edellispäivänä oppimiaan pikku kävelyaskelia. Saimme myös maailman ihanimman hymyn, kun Luna tunnisti ketkä siellä ruudussa keikkuvat (Karo mukaanlukien).
Yesterday we had sushi with a friend of Brian's on Castro street - very good - and then went home to switch on the web cam. We visited Andrea, Teemu and Luna at their breakfast. We saw also how the maple in their yard is turning orange at the top and saw how Luna is practicing her new skill of walking (or falling forwards while taking steps). We also got the brightest smile in the world when she recognised the faces (and snouts) on the computer screen.
On aurinkoinen aamu, ja kämpässä on kylmä... missähän vaiheessa täytyy laittaa lämmitys päälle?
It is a fine sunny morning and the apartment is cold... we wonder when we will have to put the heating on?
